Roof Infrared Thermal Imaging Surveys
If you had roof leaks and told that your roof needs replacing, call us first. Roof Thermal Imaging is a proven method of finding trapped water in roofing systems. Using high-quality thermal imaging cameras, we locate the moisture and mark the wet areas with marking paint. You can then surgically repair the roof and extend the life of your roofing system. This results in saving our clients a considerable amount of money and extending the lifespan of their roof. Weller Infrared Services performs roof thermal imaging surveys in accordance with ASTM CC1153 “Standard Practice for Location of Wet Insulation in Roofing Systems Using Infrared Imaging.”
Our surveys include:
- Verification of at least one thermal anomaly with a Tramex Moisture Meter
- Depending on the amount and size of anomalies found, the perimeter of defect areas on flat roof surfaces are spray painted to show the section(s) to be repaired (unless the client request otherwise).
- We prepare a report that is accurate and clearly presented with digital and IR pictures that are easy to understand by the customer
For an additional charge, we can provide a CAD drawing showing the locations of the thermal anomalies.
Aerial Roof Thermal Imaging Surveys
As a professional Thermographers, we can provide high-quality Aerial Roof surveys either with a fixed-wing aircraft or with sophisticated drones. We take visual photos of the roof surface during the day, and a flyover infrared inspection is performed at night. Click here for more information
We Have the Training
WELLER INFRARED SERVICES has been trained by the Infraspection Institute and has received their Level 3 certification. We have additional training in electrical, moisture and roofing thermography. Weller Infrared Services training and certification are in accordance with ASNT Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A Personnel Qualification and Certification in Nondestructive Testing, 2011 Edition.
